UMBC students are starting to make their way back to the madness, and in record numbers. UMBC Forums would like to welcome everyone (new and returning) back from a hopefully relaxing break. As you move back in and start classes make sure to save some time to enjoy life. Welcome week will be hosting a variety of entertaining events (don’t miss the hypnotist).
UMBC Forums will be here as usual to offer social networking and communication needs to the student body. Pass the word along about the site, it can only help us grow as a community. As well, we’re working with the SGA again to hopefully receive some school support. Jordan Hadfield, SGA President, is interested in helping the site grow and is working with us to boost student awareness.
Summer… Summer session I [05/31/2005 - 07/08/2005] and session II [07/11/2005 - 08/19/2005] are in the forefront, and the first day of class for Fall 2005 will be August 31st.
While summer classes and/or work are taking up a good portion of many student’s time, the Forums will remain open for the summer. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for increasing traffic to the site please feel free to make them known. Later in the summer, I will try to put together a group of people to help get the word out about the site on a larger scale.
umbcforumS.com The site has gone back to umbcforums.com. If you have any links, update them with the "s" on the end and they should work. Hopefully it won't matter much for you, but if you experience problems please submit a support ticket.
